Twin Towers Correctional Facility

How to Send Money to Someone at Twin Towers Correctional Facility

LASD takes deposits online through Access Corrections, on its free mobile app, or by phone at 866-345-1884. You need the booking number and a valid residential address, because P.O. boxes are not accepted. In person deposits are taken at the Inmate Reception Center at 450 Bauchet Street, the same address as Twin Towers.

What is the simplest way to deposit money at TTCF?

Use Access Corrections, the vendor LASD contracts with since July 28, 2025. The website, the app and the phone line at 866-345-1884, with a live bilingual agent, all work. Have his full name and booking number in front of you.

LASD does not publish the vendor's fees or deposit limits, so check the screen before you pay. Ignore the old notice on the LASD lookup page saying online deposits ended in 2015. It is outdated.

Is there a cash kiosk in the Twin Towers lobby?

LASD does not list one. Its cash kiosk is at the Pitchess Detention Center visiting center in Castaic, and it runs only during visiting hours with government photo ID. For cash in person at the downtown complex, LASD says to bring government photo ID to the Inmate Reception Center at 450 Bauchet Street.

That is the same street address as Twin Towers, so you will not need to cross town. Call first to confirm how it runs that day.

Can I send a money order to Twin Towers?

Yes, by mail, with limits. LASD lists a certified California bank cashier's check or a US Postal money order, payable to the inmate's name and booking number. Out of state senders can use only US Postal money orders. Men's deposits go to LASD, P.O. Box 86164, Terminal Annex, Los Angeles, CA 90086-0164, Attn Inmate Name, Booking Number.

LASD lists a maximum on mailed deposits, but its own pages show two different figures, so check its page. Cash and personal checks are rejected.

What does the money do for him at TTCF?

It goes into his trust account for commissary and other inmate needs. LASD says commissary and care packages are sold by independent vendors. A deposit is not bail and does not release anyone. For bail, see how bail is set at Twin Towers and our guide to bail costs.

Who can answer a deposit question?

LASD lists (213) 893-5875 for men's deposit questions. If he is released, trust accounts are purged about 30 days later, so collect a balance before then at the reception center or at Century Regional. Withdrawals take a Money Release Form, covered on our property release page.

If you need help with a bond while you sort out the books, call (213) 725-2815.

How should a family plan deposits for a man at Twin Towers?

Pick one person to handle the money, so the account is not funded twice by accident and nobody has to guess what was sent. Use the same name and booking number each time, and keep each receipt or confirmation number in one place.

Start small if you are unsure about the account. Check with the deposit line, (213) 893-5875, that the first deposit posted before you send more. Send mailed deposits only as certified California bank cashier's checks or US Postal money orders, never cash.

If you are also thinking about bail, the two jobs are separate. A bond is arranged with a licensed agent, and our 1% down page explains how a payment plan works. Money on the books does not reduce bail.

If a deposit does not show up, call the deposit line first and the vendor second, and have the confirmation number ready. Do not send the same money twice until you know where the first deposit went.

1% down is a down payment on approved credit, not the price of the bond. The premium is the rate on file with the California Department of Insurance, 10% of the bail amount, or 8% when a private attorney is retained or you or the defendant is a veteran. The balance goes on a payment plan.
