Twin Towers Correctional Facility
How to Find Someone at Twin Towers Correctional Facility
Search the LASD Inmate Information Center by last name, first name and date of birth, or call (213) 473-6100. New bookings take at least 2 hours to appear. Twin Towers (TTCF) is at 450 Bauchet Street, next to the Inmate Reception Center, so a man may show up in the system before he is housed here.

Where do I look for a man held at TTCF?
Los Angeles County uses one online lookup for its sheriff jails, called the Inmate Information Center. Twin Towers Correctional Facility (TTCF) is part of it. Enter a last name, first name, middle name and date of birth. LASD tells families to have the name and date of birth ready.
LAPD uses the same lookup and has no separate arrestee search of its own, so a person held by city police can be found the same way once he is in the county system.
Why is a new arrest missing from the search?
LASD says records are not available for bookings in the last 2 hours. IIC, the custody page and LAPD all repeat this. If the arrest just happened, give it time and search again.
Names are the other common problem. LASD says people are sometimes booked with or without a middle name. Try each version, nicknames, and any spelling on his ID.
What is the booking number and how do I get it?
It is the number the jail assigns when a person is booked, and it is needed for money, mail, visits and a bond. LASD says a complete legal name search returns it. You can also call (213) 473-6100 with the full name, date of birth and the date of arrest.
We did not find an official description of the number's format, so copy it exactly from the screen or the person's own paperwork.
Is he at Twin Towers or the reception center next door?
Both buildings are at 450 Bauchet Street. New arrivals are processed at the Inmate Reception Center, and then they are placed. Many men are held at Twin Towers afterward, including men with higher medical or mental health needs, according to a county listing we read, so confirm with LASD.
Because the buildings sit side by side, ask LASD which building he is in and not only where he was booked. If the listing changes, LASD does not notify families about moves, so call (213) 473-6100. The Twin Towers front desk line is (213) 893-5100.
What if he is found but I still cannot reach him?
LASD says people who are unclassified, with no housing yet, cannot have calls or visits. Classification can take two weeks to a month. See visiting at Twin Towers and phone calls for what opens up later.
For a medical emergency concern, LASD lists the Medical Command Center at (213) 893-5544, open 24 hours. When bail is the next question, read how bail is set or call (213) 725-2815.
What should I write down once I find him?
Make a short card for the family. Put his full legal name, date of birth, booking number, the building at Twin Towers or the reception center, and the date you last checked. Add any court date you learn and the name of any lawyer.
That card saves you from repeating yourself on every call, and it is the information a bail agent asks for first. Share it with the one family member who will make the calls, so the jail hears from one person and not five. If he moves, update the card. Check the lookup each day, because LASD does not tell families about moves.
Our guide to finding someone in jail has a longer checklist.
1% down is a down payment on approved credit, not the price of the bond. The premium is the rate on file with the California Department of Insurance, 10% of the bail amount, or 8% when a private attorney is retained or you or the defendant is a veteran. The balance goes on a payment plan.
