Century Regional Detention Facility (CRDF)

How Do I Send Money to a Woman at Century Regional Detention Facility (CRDF)?

LASD takes deposits through Access Corrections at accesscorrections.com, on its free app, or by phone at 866-345-1884. You can also bring a government photo ID to CRDF at 11705 S. Alameda St. Mailed money orders and cashier's checks go to the CRDF address with her name and booking number. Questions go to (323) 568-4535.

What is the fastest way to deposit money for someone at CRDF?

Online. Since July 28, 2025, LASD has taken deposits through Access Corrections, the vendor it contracts with. You can use accesscorrections.com, the free mobile app, or call 866-345-1884 to reach a live bilingual agent. LASD says you must give a valid residential address. P.O. boxes are not accepted for depositors.

Have her full name and booking number ready. If you do not have it, see how to find a woman at CRDF. LASD does not publish the vendor's fees or per deposit limits, so read the amount on screen before you pay.

Can I deposit money in person at CRDF?

Yes. LASD says to bring government photo ID to CRDF, at 11705 S. Alameda St. in Lynwood, to deposit or pick up. For women, LASD lists the deposit questions line as (323) 568-4535. The page we read does not give cashier hours, so call before the drive south.

There is also a cash kiosk, but LASD says it is only at the Pitchess Detention Center Visiting Center in Castaic, during visiting hours. No lobby kiosk at CRDF is listed.

How do I mail a deposit to CRDF?

LASD accepts a certified California bank cashier's check or a U.S. Postal money order. If you live out of state, only U.S. Postal money orders are accepted. Make it payable to her name and booking number. LASD gives this address for women's deposits.

  • LASD, Century Regional Detention Facility
  • 11705 S. Alameda St., Lynwood, CA 90262
  • Her name and booking number

LASD lists a maximum on mailed deposits, but its pages give two different numbers. Check the LASD custody page before sending. Never mail cash or a personal check. See our mail page for letters.

What can she buy with money at CRDF?

Money on the books is for her use while in custody. Commissary and care packages are sold by independent vendors, not LASD, and LASD links to the Access Catalog for them. We do not have the CRDF price list or product list, so we will not guess at what is for sale.

Her family may also wonder if the account pays for phone time. LASD does not say, and we could not verify how the phone vendor bills, so check the vendor link before you put money in for that purpose.

Money is also not the same as bail. A deposit does not release anyone. If you are weighing money on the books against a bond, read our guide on how much bail costs in California.

Can she get unspent money back from CRDF?

Yes. LASD says money left on an account can be picked up at CRDF or at the Inmate Reception Center with valid government photo ID. It also says accounts are purged about 30 days after release. Read the CRDF property and money page for the steps.

If she is pregnant, ask us about our community program for qualifying pregnant women. Qualifying pregnant women may receive a reduced or waived bail bond premium. A co-signer is required, and it is subject to approval and underwriting.

If bail is set and a family needs help with it, you can start with 1% of the bail amount down on approved credit. The premium is set by our filed rate, and the rest goes on a payment plan. See how 1% down works or apply online. We are a licensed private bail agent, not part of LASD, and approval is required.

1% down is a down payment on approved credit, not the price of the bond. The premium is the rate on file with the California Department of Insurance, 10% of the bail amount, or 8% when a private attorney is retained or you or the defendant is a veteran. The balance goes on a payment plan.
