North Hollywood (NoHo) Bail Bonds, LAPD North Hollywood
NoHo has theaters, bars, apartment towers and plenty of late nights, and some of those nights end in an arrest. If yours did, call Jane Un Bail Bonds at (213) 725-2815 right away. We are a licensed California bail agent, CDI License #1843448, and we are open all day and all night.
North Hollywood stretches from the NoHo Arts District on Lankershim Boulevard out to quiet blocks near Valley Plaza Park. ZIP codes 91601, 91602, 91605, 91606 and 91607 all fall within it. It is a transit hub with a Metro station where the B Line and the G Line meet.

The Burbank Boulevard station
North Hollywood has its own LAPD Area. The station is on Burbank Boulevard, and the front desk number is 818-754-8300. Our North Hollywood station page lists the address and what to bring.
Some arrests here start with an officer, and some begin with a call from a bar, a store or an apartment manager. The person is taken to the station, then usually to booking at the Valley Jail Section in Van Nuys. LAPD can transfer arrestees between facilities, so call to confirm.
Nightlife, trains and transit arrests
Parking structures near the Metro station, the busy corners along Lankershim and Magnolia, and the blocks near Valley Plaza Park see very different crowds at different hours. A weekday afternoon is not a Saturday midnight. Police presence follows the crowds.
The Arts District, the theaters and the restaurants keep people out late. After closing time, DUI stops, disputes outside bars and public intoxication arrests can follow. The Metro station draws a lot of foot traffic as well, and fare or conduct problems may involve transit officers who then hand the person to LAPD.
If the arrest was made by a different agency, the booking location may change. Tell us where it happened and who made it. We will help you find the right jail.
Getting to Van Nuys from NoHo
The trip is short. Take Burbank Boulevard or the 170 to the 101 west, then reach Sylmar Avenue in Van Nuys through Van Nuys Boulevard. The G Line busway also runs west across the Valley, so riders without a car can reach the Van Nuys area on one line and then use a short rideshare for the final stretch.
The Valley Jail Section page shows the address and visiting hours. Bail is accepted 24 hours a day.
Understanding the cost before you sign
A bail bond fee is called the premium. It is 10% of the bail at the filed rate, or 8% if a private attorney is retained or the defendant or co-signer is a veteran. Bail Today, Pay Later lets you start with 1% down on approved credit, then pay the balance on a monthly plan.
At a bail of $10,000, the premium is $1,000, and the 1% down payment is $100. At $60,000, the premium is $6,000 and the 1% down payment is $600. Approval is required, and a co-signer is normally part of it. We show you every number first. Use the calculator to try your own amount.
Gig workers, actors and odd schedules
NoHo has changed fast. New apartment buildings stand next to older bungalows, and renters often move in and out within a year or two. That matters for paperwork, because a co-signer who has lived at the same address for a long time is easier to verify. If you moved recently, bring a lease, a utility bill or a pay stub with your current address.
Many people in NoHo work in entertainment, restaurants and the gig economy, with paychecks that do not look like a nine to five job. Proof of steady income can be bank deposits, pay stubs, invoices or a letter from a regular client. Tell us how you actually earn money, and we will tell you what we need.
If you are the co-signer, you promise the defendant will make every court date. That includes dates that fall on a shoot day or a double shift. Put them in your phone the minute you get them.
The courthouse in Van Nuys
Valley cases are usually heard at the Van Nuys Courthouse East on Sylmar Avenue, next to the jail. Check the release paperwork for the exact courtroom. Some cases go to other courthouses depending on the charge.
At the courthouse, expect a security line, a metal detector and a hallway full of other families. Dress neatly, arrive early and bring the release papers. Many people get a stern word from a clerk simply for being late, and a late arrival can be treated as a missed one.
If you lose the court date, our guide on what to do after an arrest explains how to look it up, and our team can help you find it.
1% down is a down payment on approved credit, not the price of the bond. The premium is the rate on file with the California Department of Insurance, 10% of the bail amount, or 8% when a private attorney is retained or you or the defendant is a veteran. The balance goes on a payment plan.
